Hero Motocorp’s electric mobility brand Vida has launched the first model of its new off-road Dart. E series, the Dart. E K3, designed scientifically for children.
The introductory price for the first 300 buyers has been set at ₹69,990, approximately Tk 94,500.
Specifically created for children aged 4 to 10, the motorcycle features a three-stage adjustable frame that can be modified from small to medium to large as the child grows.
The frame’s height and length adjustments are designed to maintain stability, handling, and centre-of-gravity balance scientifically.
The Dart. E K3 is powered by a 350-watt motor with a peak output of 500 watts, providing sufficient tractable torque for urban and light off-road conditions. Its removable 360-watt-hour battery fully charges in about three hours, offering up to three hours of riding time. The battery’s sealed enclosure ensures effective heat and moisture control and long-lasting performance.
The motorcycle offers three ride modes – Beginner, Amateur and Pro which scientifically regulate motor output and throttle mapping to maintain responsiveness and safety for the child.
Safety features include a hydraulic rear disc brake, magnetic lanyard kill switch, child-friendly brake lever and impact-absorbing components, enhancing the bike’s protection.
Parental control is available through a mobile app, allowing guardians to monitor and manage all aspects of their child’s riding activity.
Development of the Dart. E K3 was completed at Hero Tech Centre in Germany and the Centre of Innovation and Technology in Jaipur, with production at Vida’s Green Facility in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
The bike has received recognition for its design and technology, winning the Red Dot Design Award 2025 and the CES Innovation Award Honoree 2026.
The motorcycle will be available in red, purple, and white, with retail sales commencing on 15 January 2026 in Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur and Calicut.
The Dart. E K3 offers a scientifically advanced, size-adjustable, and safe electric motorcycle, making it an ideal first bike for children.
